Shay is a Family Nurse Practitioner who is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and licensed by the state of Iowa. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree in 2020 from Walden University. Shay worked as a Registered Nurse since 2013 specializing in the areas of emergency care and surgery. Shay’s experience at Crescent as a student is what confirmed her passion for community health and prompted her to pursue a career here. Shay offers an all-encompassing approach that focuses on the whole person to achieve health and wellness goals for patients across the lifespan. Shay is an avid animal lover who enjoys spending time with family and participating in outdoor activities such including hiking, boating, and snowmobiling.
