Telehealth Services

Stay safe, stay home and stay healthy by utilizing our Telehealth services for medical, behavioral health and dental appointments. Telehealth is important in ensuring uninterrupted care for our patients, while minimizing exposure to outside contacts as much as possible.

What is a Telehealth appointment?

Our Telehealth appointments use cameras to connect you to your health care providers, meaning you won't physically come to Crescent to receive the care you need. You will be able to see, hear and talk to your Crescent provider through video-conferencing from the safety of your own home or another location. You can even have a family member, care provider or friend accompany you for the appointment if you wish!

How does a Telehealth appointment work?

A Crescent Telehealth appointment is just like a regular appointment but virtual. You will sit in front of a camera where you will be able to see yourself and your provider on the screen once your session begins. Your provider will ask you questions and work with you to develop a care plan, providing the same high-quality care you would get in a face-to-face visit. You can start your Telehealth appointment using a computer with webcam, smartphone or tablet.

Is a Telehealth appointment private and confidential?

Just like a regular appointment, your Telehealth appointment will be private and confidential. What you say during your visit can only be seen and heard by you and your health care team.

What is the cost for a Telehealth appointment?

You will be billed for your Telehealth appointment the same as if you were seeing your provider in person. Due to the COVID-19 crisis, most insurers are providing coverage for Telehealth services. To find out if your insurance company will cover these services, please contact them directly or speak to your health care team.
