Jane Bentrott
I was an LPN and worked in many capacities including pediatrics, family planning, ENT/Allergy, nursing home, and most recently school nursing. I have also worked in retail and the public library. My time in our school district gave me firsthand knowledge of the poverty in our community and how it affects our citizens.
I joined the Crescent board in January 2025 and feel that some of my personal and professional experiences will give me a unique insight into what the consumers at Crescent might need and how we can help them achieve their goals, both health wise and in their personal lives. I look forward to learning more about Crescent and its place in the community.
I enjoy gardening (I’m a former Master Gardener), reading, and spending time with family and friends. I have been a Hospice volunteer in Jackson county for many years and I am active in my church. I also keep busy volunteering for different organizations. I have been on mission trips with my church, most notably to Haiti twice. I live in Maquoketa and have 3 sons and 8 grandchildren. I love to see them whenever possible!
