Mike Wright
A native of Detroit, Mike Wright is now a double retiree: once from the University of Iowa, and again from the Dubuque County Library District last year. In Iowa City he served as a city council member and as chair of the Johnson County Joint Emergency Call Center (911 service) Board. In Dubuque served on the Long Range Planning Commission. An active Master Gardener and volunteer at the Arboretum, Mike is also an avid bike rider and kayaker. He and his husband live in a 141 year old house adjacent to downtown Dubuque.
Mike was introduced to Crescent Community Health by a friend, and quickly realized that Crescent was the type of organization he likes to be involved with: one that is responsive and proactive to the community it serves while providing affordable health care.
