Ken Garlow
Kenneth Garlow attended the University of Iowa where he studied vocal performance in music composition, graduating with a degree in music. He began using Crescent Community Health Center for his medical needs in 2021 after Gary reached out to him when he needed the Covid vaccine. He appreciated how it felt to be protected and made health care seem desirable and possible.
Kenneth worked in accounting for 20 years and taught singing, piano, and guitar for over 30 years. He is currently writing orchestral composition during the evening hours. In the past, he prepared financial statements but did not feel like he looked at the overall picture often. As a member on Crescent’s board, he enjoys looking at the numbers and their implications, as well as seeing health care reaching people who thought that they were forgotten by society.
