Crescent Community Health Center in partnership with Clarke University, the City of Dubuque and the Hawkeye Area Community Action Program is hosting a FREE drive-through flu vaccine clinic on Saturday, October 17 from 8 – 11 a.m. (while supplies last) at Flora Park (2605 Pennsylvania Avenue, Dubuque, Iowa 52002).
This is a drive-through event only, no walk-up participants will be able to receive the vaccine. Everyone must wear a mask. In addition to the vaccine clinic, there will be a resource fair with a variety of community agencies present as participants drive through the park after receiving their vaccine.
“We felt it was important to offer our community an easy and safe way to receive their flu shot,” said Gary Collins, Chief Executive Officer. “Now more than ever, it is important to stay healthy. We hope this drive-through clinic and resource fair will encourage people to come out and get their vaccine!”
